Join us for Haringey London Borough of Culture 2027, a year-long celebration of culture, creativity and community. We’re looking for volunteers to help bring this extraordinary programme to life.

Inspired by Haringey's history of rebels and changemakers, our Rebels with a Cause volunteers will celebrate the people, stories and cultures that make our borough unique. This is your chance to be part of this landmark moment, helping to create a lasting legacy and showcase the creativity, talent and diversity that make Haringey unique.

Volunteer opportunities

Throughout 2027 and 2028, volunteers will support a vibrant programme of events taking place across the borough.

Opportunities will include:

• Supporting major headline events, including opening and closing celebrations
• Welcoming audiences and visitors
• Stewarding and event support
• Operational support behind the scenes
• Artist and participant liaison
• Accessibility and inclusion support
• Supporting people with disabilities and access needs, including hidden disabilities

Opportunities will be available at a range of levels, with additional volunteer leadership roles to be announced in the future. 

Whether you're passionate about arts and culture, looking to gain experience, meet new people or give back to your community, there will be something for everyone.

• Meet new people and build connections across Haringey and beyond
• Play a key role in delivering one of the borough's biggest cultural celebrations
• Receive reasonable expenses, including travel and refreshments where applicable
• Choose the opportunities that suit you: volunteer for one event or many, and across the borough or just in your local neighbourhood
