Content & Events Producer
We are seeking a creative, organised and collaborative Content & Events Producer who is passionate about culture, creativity and community participation tolead on the creation of content and support the delivery of live programme activity across London Borough of Culture Haringey 2027.
Salary: £32,000 per annum (pro rata) 0.8 days per week.
Location: Haringey, London
Contract: 0.8 FTE ending in April 2028
Reporting to: Head of Communications & Engagement
About the Role
This role is part of Haringey London Borough of Culture Haringey 2027.
We are seeking a creative, organised and collaborative Content & Events Producer who is passionate about culture, creativity and community participation. The successful candidate will be a natural storyteller with a flair for creating engaging content, building relationships and capturing authentic stories, while leading the creation of content and supporting the delivery of live programme activity across London Borough of Culture Haringey 2027.
This is a unique opportunity to help tell the story of one of London's most ambitious cultural programmes while also playing an active role in its delivery. Working across communications, events and engagement, you will capture the people, places and stories that make Haringey unique while helping ensure programme activity is visible, welcoming and connected to local communities.
You will work closely with artists, communities, partners and colleagues across the organisation to create compelling content, coordinate content capture, support event delivery and ensure that residents remain at the heart of the programme.

Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Storytelling
- Develop and manage a content calendar aligned to programme milestones, campaigns and community activity.
- Create and commission content across digital, social, editorial and print channels.
- Identify and tell stories that reflect Haringey's communities, artists, places and cultural identity.
- Ensure content aligns with the programme's key messages, values and visual identity.
Content Creation & Capture
- Produce written, photographic and video content across the programme.
- Coordinate freelance photographers, videographers and content creators.
- Capture activity at events, workshops and community programmes.
- Manage content libraries, permissions and digital assets.
Community Engagement & Storytelling
- Work with local artists, organisations and community groups to capture stories and voices from across the borough.
- Support grassroots organisations and grant recipients to share their work through LBoC platforms.
- Ensure communities feel represented and visible within programme communications.
Event Coordination & Delivery
- Support the planning and delivery of the live events programme and public-facing activity.
- Help deliver engagement initiatives including workshops, consultations, volunteer programmes and community events.
- Liaise with venues, artists and partners to ensure content capture opportunities are built into delivery plans.
- Ensure events are documented and evaluated through content, photography and participant feedback.
Digital Platforms & Audience Development
- Work with the Marketing Coordinator to support and manage content updates across the website, newsletter and social media platforms.
- Ensure content is optimised for digital audiences and aligned with SEO and accessibility standards.
- Support CRM audience growth through campaigns, sign-ups and participation activity.
- Track content performance and audience engagement.
- Contribute to reporting and evaluation processes, using insights and analytics to refine content approaches.
Collaboration & Relationship Management
- Work closely with the Head of Communications & Engagement, Marketing Coordinator and wider programming team to ensure content is delivered on schedule and aligned with communications priorities.
- Build positive relationships with artists, volunteers, community organisations and cultural partners to gather stories, images and updates from across the programme.
- Coordinate freelance photographers, videographers and designers where required.
- Support stakeholder communications and information sharing.
- Champion inclusive and accessible communications practices across the programme.

Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years experience creating digital content (photography, video and multimedia), either for organisations, projects or campaigns
- Strong storytelling and writing skills.
- Experience managing content across social media and other platforms
- Experience coordinating multiple projects, events or community activity.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience working collaboratively within teams.
Desirable
- Experience working within arts, culture, festivals or community programmes.
- Experience working with community groups or participatory projects.
- Experience coordinating freelancers or external suppliers.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and audience development.(Priority)
