We are seeking an organised, collaborative and proactive Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of a dynamic, borough-wide cultural programme in the lead-up to and throughout 2027/8.

We are seeking an organised, collaborative and proactive Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of a dynamic, borough-wide cultural programme in the lead-up to and throughout 2027/8.
Working across the producing team and multiple projects and partners, the Programme Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of cultural activity across Haringey. You will support programme producers, artists and community partners with coordination, administration and communications, helping to bring projects to life across neighbourhoods.

Salary: 30,000 pro rata
Location: London, hybrid
Contract Type: 0.8 FTE, Fixed Term to March 2028
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Coordination & Delivery
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of programme activity across London Borough of Culture Haringey.
- Assist with project timelines, schedules and workplans, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Coordinate logistics for events, workshops and public-facing activity, including venues, travel, access requirements and equipment.
- Support programme producers and artists with day-to-day project coordination.
- Help ensure activity is inclusive, accessible and responsive to local communities.
- Undertake research to support programme development, including artists, partners, venues, suppliers and best practice.
Stakeholder & Partner Coordination
- Work with the Executive Coordinator to act as a key point of contact for artists, community organisations and delivery partners.
- Support communication and coordination across multiple stakeholders including Haringey Council teams.
- Build positive working relationships with local organisations, residents and creative practitioners.
- Assist in developing project briefs and specifications for sharing with funders, partners and collaborators.
Administration & Systems
- Maintain accurate programme records, schedules and documentation.
- Arrange meetings and manage diaries for programme producers.
- Prepare for meetings, including agenda setting and coordination of materials.
- Assist with coordinating meetings, taking notes and tracking actions.
- Support financial administration in conjunction with the Executive Co-ordinator, including raising purchase orders and tracking budgets.
- Use project management tools, including Asana, CRM systems and shared drives to organise programme information and ensure stakeholder details are up to date and extensive.
- Monitor shared inboxes and respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Events & Activity Support
- Support the delivery of events, including on-the-day coordination where required.
- Assist with risk assessments, health & safety processes and safeguarding considerations.
- Support the delivery of the Culture Collective and programme-wide events, including on-the-day coordination where required.
- Liaise with Volunteer and Training Coordinator in regard to volunteer requirements and opportunities and support their induction and involvement in programme activity where required.
- Tracking opportunities across the programme and individual projects, including roles, creative, placements, participation, volunteers and training.
- Ensure access needs and inclusion are considered and included across the programme
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Support the collection of data and feedback across programme activity.
- Assist with reporting processes and evaluation frameworks.
- Help track participation, engagement and outcomes across projects.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving programme environment
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Experience supporting the coordination or delivery of projects, events or programmes.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Confident with numbers and budgets.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in customer-facing, community-facing or public engagement roles.
Desirable
- Experience working in the arts, culture, community or public sector.
- Experience supporting events or participatory/community-led projects.
- Familiarity with project management tools, CRMs or databases.
- Understanding of safeguarding, accessibility and inclusive practice.
- Knowledge of or connection to Haringey and its communities.
