You could get up to £40,000 to help bring your dream creative project to life.

Applications for Haringey Unearthed, our flagship grants program, open on 1 June, with funding available for artists, collectives, grassroots organisations and community groups creating exciting cultural projects rooted in Haringey’s communities, stories and neighbourhoods.

As part of Haringey’s year as London Borough of Culture, the programme will support bold, creative ideas that celebrate what makes the borough special: from performances and exhibitions to workshops, installations, local events and projects in unexpected places. At least £500,000 will be distributed through the programme between now and 2028, with funding rounds taking place every three months.

We especially want to hear from communities and creatives who have historically been underrepresented in the arts and culture sector, including Latine communities, Black British, African and Caribbean communities, People of Turkish and/or Kurdish heritage, LGBTQI+ communities, disabled people, children and young people, and over-65s.

Projects should connect with themes at the heart of Haringey’s Borough of Culture programme, including:

  • celebrating Haringey’s identity as a Rebel Borough
  • climate action and sustainability
  • health and wellbeing
  • bringing creativity into everyday community spaces
  • marking cultural events and celebrations such as Pride and Black History Month

Funding decisions will be made by a panel of Haringey residents, helping ensure the programme reflects the borough’s communities and voices.

If you’re a Haringey-based creative or community activist, please take a look at the guidelines and put your project forward. We can’t wait to hear your ideas!

Applications for the first round open on 1 June and close on 30 June.
